long time, no blog...

Hey! So, to keep it real, I've been slacking. Like I mentioned in my last post, I just haven't been inspired lately because have a lot (of good things) going on. I can't talk about it now but I cant wait until I can!

Anyway, last week Sam came down to get her hair done for her sisters wedding and can I say how amazing it looks? I hate to toot my own horn, but no I don't. While she was here we did a little photo shoot along with some photos of me and the hubz. Enjoy!

 

Here is the before and after of Sam's hair. Isn't it amazing? It gets even better in the outfit photos!

 

Look how amazing her hair looks when the sun hits it! I can't even deal... I love how these pictures came out. The lighting was perfect, I barely had to edit them. Mostly because Sam is so beautiful!

Love him! I hope everyone has a great Monday, I had an unexpected day off so I know I am. I've been in my bed all day with no plans to leave. That's how I like it. xo

It was so hot outside today and I would have loved to not wear the chambray shirt over my tank top, but it wasn't and option because my bra was showing in the back and that's not cute. Surprisingly, this wasn't too hot of an outfit. I love chambray shirts because you can wear them over dresses too and to me its like a more casual version of a jean jacket if you could imagine anything more casual than a jean jacket.

Tomorrow is Friday! Hope everyone has a great weekend because tomorrow is my Monday -_-

So I didn't list where the jeans are from because any jeans will do, but these are from Wet Seal like 2 years ago. I was lacking in creativity today so I decided to go with the classic oversized white button down, aka, the 'boyfriend shirt.' It's pretty much appropriate for every situation...whatever.

I've been trying to figure out if I actually like this shirt for a while now. Then I realized that I love it and the only reason I haven't worn it is because I was afraid that other people wouldn't like it. I feel like lately when I've been picking outfits for this blog, I've been fighting with myself about what I like to wear and what I think other people would like to see. So bottom line, do things for yourself!

 

On to the outfit! I've been trying to figure out what to wear this with because it's borderline childish. I feel like the way I paired it makes it look super summer-y. I bought these wedges more than a year ago and this is my first time wearing them. And I actually wore them all day. Super comfy.
